SS Rajamouli’s international version for Baahubali
To make international distribution viable, SS Rajamouli is planning an international version which will be a shorter one compared to the 290-minutes long two-part film. The team, including SS Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya, cinematographer Senthil Kumar and producer Shobu Yarlagadda, is currently busy promoting the film in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival to get interested distributors on board.
The first installment of the film is all set for a grand release in July. The audio launch is planned in Hyderabad on May 31st and who’s who of Indian cinema will be invited for the gala event which is produced at a budget of Rs. 1 crore.
