SRK’s Jawan bagged by Gokulam Movies for a huge price, will it break even easily?
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is the latest hot pick in the trade, as the film has been bagged by Gokulam Movies for a big price of 15 crore in TN. The film featuring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi alongside him has turned out to be the biggest price ever marked for a Bollywood film in TN.
SRK’s last film in Pathaan had grossed close to 20 crore in TN, and brought back a share of above 8 crores. To break even, Jawan will have to do a share value of more than 15 crores, which means it will have to get past at least 35 crores at the box office here. Let’s wait and see what is the situation on September 7th, as the team is now getting ready for a grand audio launch in Chennai next week.
