After 32 years, Sridevi and Kamal Haasan on screen for Drishyam?
The latest news is that the yesteryear hit pair Kamal Haasan and Sri Devi will come together for the Tamil remake of Drishyam. But, Sri Devi is not approached to reprise Meena’s role, but of Asha Sharat who essayed the role of an astute IPS officer in the film. Producer Rajkumar says, “Boney Kapoor is very impressed with the film. We are in talks with Sri Devi for the role of IPS officer in the film.”
Raj Kumar also confirms that either Gauthami or Abirami or Meena will essay the role of Kamal Haasan’s wife in the film. Jeethu Joseph, the director of the original, will also helm the remake which has Kamal Haasan reprising the role of Mohan Lal. It will be jointly produced by Suresh Balaje of Wide Angle Creations and Raj Kumar Sethupathy and Sripriya Rajkumar of Raj Kumar Theatres Pvt Ltd. Ghibran is roped in to compose music for the film.
