“Sridevi has a powerful character in Puli”

Sridevi Boney Kapoor’s last film English Vinglish was touted as a perfect comeback for the actress to the silver screen in Hindi after many years. Sridevi, who is returning to Kollywood after decades, will make a similar comeback in Vijays’ Puli, says SKT Studios, the makers of the film. “English Vinglish proved the comeback of Sridevi madam in Hindi. Ilayathalapathy’s Puli will definitely be a strong comeback for her in South India with a powerful character.” posted SKT Studios on its official page.

Also, it cleared the air on the much speculated triple role played by Vijay in the film. “Absolutely false news that Vijay sir doing triple role in #Puli,” said SKT.

Directed by Chimbudevan, Puli is progressing at a brisk pace and the Chennai schedule is likely to be wrapped up Friday and the team will head to Vagamon hill station in Kerala for their next leg of shoot.
