Special teams appointed to curb inflated ticket prices

As per a recent order from Madras High Court, Chennai City Police Commissioner has appointed special teams consisting of an assistant commissioner, a revenue official and a commercial tax official to monitor inflated ticket prices, especially on the opening day of star films, in several theaters in Chennai.

With Vijay’s Theri set for release on April 14th, this move might augur well for the moviegoers who need not worry about overpriced tickets. As per an official statement from Chennai City Police, audiences can file a complaint with the helpline number o44-23452359 if they come inflated ticket prices.
