Special screening of Jigarthanda in Chennai receives a fantastic response!
On the account of 9 Years of Jigarthanda, a special screening of the film was held in Chennai yesterday. When the bookings for the film opened up on Thursday, the tickets for the show were sold out in an hour itself. The team of Jigarthanda attended the screening, with director Karthik Subbaraj watching the entire film with the audience who turned up to see the film.
At the end of the screening, Karthik spoke about the memories associated with Jigarthanda saying “Even after so many years, there is still a terrific buzz and excitement for the film. I am so happy that so many scenes of the film still resonate very well for the audiences. I had a great time watching it again with the audiences.”
Karthik Subbaraj is getting ready with his next biggie Jigarthanda Double X, which is coming up for Diwali 2023. The film featuring Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah is betted as Karthik’s biggest yet, and the shoot for the film is completed.
