Soundarya Rajinikanth clarifies on Simbu

Soundarya Rajinikanth’s candid statement in a reality show Koffee With DD has irked the fans of young super star Simbu. When she was asked to rank Ranbir Kapoor, Dhanush, Fahad Faazil, Mahesh Babu and Simbu as per their acting abilities, Soundarya ranked STR as the last one and also wittily remarked, “Don’t mistake me Simbu.” Though her statement was made in a lighter vein, her another point on Simbu in the rapid fire round did not go down well with his fans.

DD asked Soundarya, “If given a chance as a journalist to ask any question to STR, what would you ask ?” and Soundarya promptly replied saying, “Paadaatheenga Simbu.” This led fans to outrage on Twitter which brought the attention of both STR and Soundarya.

Simbu Tweeted – “Everyone has their rite to comment about anyone …request fans to stop this abusive aprroach … Pls treat others the same way u treat me.” He also added, “I can c the love u guys have for me and I respect that and I request u to show the same love towards others as well … Thank u”

Soundarya replied saying, “@iam_str is one of my dearest childhood friends 🙂 whatever I said was for fun and there are no hard feelings between us !!!”
