After the overwhelming success with the audio rights of Kaththi, Soundarya Rajinikanth, the creative and strategy head of Eros International south, has reportedly signed a two-film deal with Lingusamy’s Thirupathi Brothers to distribute Uttama Villain, which is under post-production and Rajini Murugan, which is yet to go on the floors. According to reliable source, Eros International will co-release the film with Thirupathi Brothers. Apparently, Thirupathi Brothers were in talks with Eros even before Soundarya Rajinikanth took charge.
Producer Chandrabose of Thirupathi Brothers has also confirmed to a daily that his production house and Eros will jointly present the films Uttama Villain and Rajini Murugan. If the reports are true, Soundarya Rajinikanth’s first film at the helm will be Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain directed by Ramesh Aravind, which is slated for release in November. Meanwhile, Rajini Murugan, directed by Ponram starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, is yet to go on the floors.
