Sonakshi Sinha wants more projects down south

Sonakshi Sinha has always been vocal about her praise for superstar Rajinikanth and this comes as no surprise. The Bollywood babe, who makes her Tamil debut with Lingaa this Friday, says speaking a new language, donning a new look, and being part of a completely new era was the most fascinating part of her role in the film. “I would love to do more projects (down south) provided I get good scripts. The southern film industries are rich in content, which is why so many of their films get remade here (in Bollywood). I definitely don’t want (my southern film career) to end with Lingaa,” says Sonakshi to IANS.

She was also lavish in her praise for her co-star and her father’s long-time companion, Rajinikanth. “It was an honour to share screen space with a living legend like him. I was stunned by his simplicity and humble nature. He is a wonderful human being and truly a rare gem of a person,” says Sonakshi Sinha about her working experience with Rajinikanth.
