Sivalinga Songs Review

Review Overview

Sivalinga
Chinna Kabali
Saarah Saarah
Sirikka Vechu
Rangu Rakkara

Sufficiently exciting soundtrack.

Sivalinga is a customary soundtrack from Thaman, who has kept in mind, the requirements of this horror entertainer. Nevertheless, Lawrence will take great care of the choreography and make the visuals memorable. And that, should help it get over the line.

Vast: Lawrence, Ritika Singh

Music: Thaman

Direction: P.Vasu

Label: Zee Music

Sivalinga: Singer – Usha Uthup, Kalpana, Sri Krishna

Going by it’s name and style, this will be the theme track of the film. Plugged with chants and headed by Usha Uthup’s vocals, it does have a vibrating effect after a few listens. Our PICK.

Chinna Kabali: Singer – Shankar Mahadevan, Neeven, Arunraja Kamaraj

With worn out lyrics and a tune that doesn’t offer anything special, the probable intro song falls flat. Move on.

Saarah Saarah: Singer – Rahul Nambiar

Pedestrian kuthu song which is a brother of the numerous ones that Thaman has composed yet. Rahul Nambiar does a good job on the mic though.

Sirikka Vechu: Singer – Vijay Yesudas, Ramya Behra

A fairly simple melody with Vijay Yesudas totally owning the vocal base. However, we wish it had some variation halfway.

Rangu Rakkara: Singer – Anirudh, Sanjana Kalmanje

Now, here comes an exciting electronic kuthu track which is always the highlight of Lawrence’s films. Anirudh amazingly keeps up with the pace of the song, and makes it a foot-tapping listen. Our PICK.
