Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan postponed

Originally set to release on September 17th, Sivakarthikeyan’s commercial entertainer Rajini Murugan has been postponed due to financial reasons. Films like Mapla Singam, Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Tamil Selvanum Thaniyar Anjalum have joined the Vinayagar Chaturthi bandwagon at the last minute apart from 49 O and Maya, which were confirmed earlier.

Sources say Lingusamy is still hopeful of getting the film to theaters on September 17th and is in intense negotiations with Eros International. However, the paper advertisements from the makers have stopped today. Trade sources suggest that the film has been postponed to a later date.
