Sivakarthikeyan’s next film directed by Ponram of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam fame will go on the floors from today. It has Malayalam actress Keerthi Suresh playing the female lead. The makers have already got approval from superstar Rajinikanth to use the title. The film is set in the backdrop of Karaikudi and is said to be a rural subject similar on the lines of Ponram’s VVS.
Rajkiran plays Sivakarthikeyan’s grandfather. Ponram has also roped in Samuthirakani, who supposedly plays the villain role in the film. Rajini Murugan is produced by Lingusamy’s Thirrupathi Brothers and Imman composes music. There are also reports that Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Eros International will co-release the film with Thirupathi Brothers.
