“Sivakarthikeyan was completely down-to-earth,” says Charlie

Veteran actor Charlie who plays an important role in the Sivakarthikeyan-Nayantara starrer ‘Velaikkaran’ directed by Mohan Raja talks about the film and his working experience.

Charlie plays Sivakarthikeyan’s father in the film. “Sometimes, we get attached to a person and start sharing an unconditional affinity towards them. Sivakarthikeyan was one such person to work with and our rapport got great due to our off-screen friendship. During the contemporary times, when the young generation of actors get confined to their own ideologies, Sivakarthikeyan proved to be an exception with his complete down-to-earth and good nature. This helped us perform even better in the roles of father and son. Our combination of sequences will involve both entertainment and emotions. I play a father, who will be the backbone of his son’s decision, supporting him wholeheartedly,” says Charlie.
