Sivakarthikeyan wants to do experimental roles
Sivakarthikeyan, who has had a stellar 2014 with his super hit Maan Karate which was turned by critics, says he would like to take up experimental roles in future. “I want to endear myself to audiences with the image they have of me, but also take on edgier, more experimental roles that will test my learning curve.It’s going to be a period of transition.”
Sivakarthikeyan’s next release is Kakki Sattai for Pongal where he is all set to take on the biggies, Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal and Vikram’s I. Directed by Durai Senthilkumar of Ethirneechal fame, the film has Sri Divya playing the female lead. Sivakarthikeyan essays th role of a cop. “The year 2015 will be highly significant for me am I’m moving away from my funny, good-natured image and embracing a full-fledged action role as a cop in Kakki Sattai,” says Siva.
