Sivakarthikeyan to romance Vikram Prabhu’s heroine?

As Sivakarthikeyan’s Taana directed by Durai Senthilkumar is nearing completion, the makers of his next film Rajini Murugan are on the lookout for the lead girl. While names likes Tamannaah, Lakshmi Menon were tossed around earlier, the latest news is the team has approached Malayalam actress Keerthi Suresh, who plays the lead role in Vikram Prabhu’s untitled flick with director Vijay. Keerthi Suresh is also playing the female lead in director Krishna’s Maaney Theney Paeye where she is paired with Aari of Nedunchalai fame.

The team is awaiting confirmation from Keerthi Suresh regarding her participation in the project. Directed by Ponram and produced by Thirupathi Brothers, the distribution rights of Rajini Murugan are already acquired by Eros International. Set in the backdrop of Madurai, Rajini Murugan will go on the floors in November. It has a stellar supporting cast including Samuthirakani and Rajkiran in important roles.
