Sivakarthikeyan regrets missing Vijay’s Kaththi

Sivakarthikeyan regrets missing Vijay’s Kaththi and playfully blames it on his friend Sathish, who is playing a supporting role in the film directed by AR Murugadoss. Apparently, when Sathish and Sivakarthikeyan were shooting for Pandiraj’s Marina, Siva was doubtful of his role in the industry. “Am I a comedian or a hero?,” he used to ask, says Sathish to a Tamil magazine. Sathish had convinced Sivakarthikeyan that his dancing skills, dialogue timing and commitments make him a perfect hero. “That was a selfish comment. Because I can play his side-kick or a comedian only if he becomes a hero,” says Sathish, who got his break in Sivakarthikeyan’s Ethirneechal directed by Durai Senthilkumar.

“It’s because of you I lost my chance to act alongside Vijay in Kaththi.  If I were a comedian, I would have played your role in Vijay sir’s Kaththi film,” bantered Sivakarthikeyan with Sathish. Well, we hope Sivakarthikeyan gets to act in a Vijay film and fulfills his desire soon!
