Sivakarthikeyan on Amaran: My father was one of the reasons to do the film
In a recent introductory event to his biggie Amaran which is releasing on the 31st of October for Diwali, Sivakarthikeyan said that the film is one which is very close to his heart, and his father was also one of the reasons for him to do it. “As my father is a police officer, I saw a lot of similarities between my father and Major Mukund sir. Also, it is being produced by Kamal sir, so everything should be perfect,” said the actor.
Amaran is directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and features Sai Pallavi in the lead. The film is based on the real-life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan.
