Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan respond on the ‘viral video’

It shook the entire industry when a group of fans attacked Sivakarthikeyan yesterday at the Madurai airport when he landed to participate in a college function to share the dias with Kamal Haasan and Hansika. The video recording of the incident was uploaded on YouTube and within minutes, it started spreading on social media platforms and through WhatsApp. While different theories are doing rounds as to why Siva was attacked, both Kamal Haasan and Sivakarthikeyan responded to a television channel few hours later.

“Nothing like that. He is fine. I just said bye bye to him,” said a hurried Kamal Haasan. “I’m doing perfectly fine. It’s a small issue. I’m talking in front of you guys now. I’m alright,” said a composed Siva who later took to his Twitter page and posted, “Wit all ur Blessings Im Perfectly alright.Tnx 2 all d Luvly hearts 4 ur Greatest Support at Tis Moment.Ur Luv makes me Stronger.Luv U All [SIC].“
