Simran signs women-centric film
Simran Bagga, who was last seen in a brief role in GV Prakash’s Trisha Illana Nayanthara, has signed a women-centric film like Rani Mukherjee’s Hindi film Mardaani. The film marks the debut of ad film maker Gowri Shankar and will be bankrolled by Deepak Bagga, Simran’s husband. Simran’s last film as a full-fledged lead role was SJ Suryah’s New.
The shooting for the movie is expected to commence next month. The final cast and crew are still being finalized. Simran essays the role of a cop and the antagonist role will be stronger since they both will be pitted against each other in the story.
