Sigaram Thodu is a commercial cinema: Gaurav

Gaurav Narayanan is back with his second film, Sigaram Thodu, which is set to hit the screens in September. The film’s audio was launched last month amidst a bevy of stars including Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi and KS Ravikumar. Sigaram Thodu is a commercial cinema and has a bit lof love, comedy and action, says Gaurav.

“In my film, the protagonist will be depicted as the guy next door. He appears in police uniform in only three scenes and there will be no exaggeration. I feel there are many notable feats of policemen that actually go unnoticed and unreported in the media. I have attempted to focus on the way the department works, the intra-departmental camaraderie, how they track down culprits and so on,” adds Gaurav to a daily. Sigaram Thodu has Vikram Prabhu and Monal Gajjar in lead roles. Monal has Vaanavarayan Vallavarayan releasing on September 5th, where she is paired with Kreshna of Kazhugu fame.
