SIFAA President Sarath Kumar voices support for Siddharth

Sarath Kumar, the President of South Indian Film Artistes’ Association,  has voiced his support for Siddharth in the Jigarthanda issue. “A film’s actors and actresses have equal concern just like its producers. In the Jigarthanda issue, Siddharth has registered his opinion only on the goodwill that the film should release soon. It could not have been overblown,” said Sarath Kumar.

Earlier, Producer Kathiresan released an official statement where he stated that an actor’s duty ends the moment he’s done with the shooting and that they should not interfere in the release date of the film since it’s a producer’s prerogative. “Thank you @realsarathkumar and Nadigar Sangam for setting the record straight.
