Sibiraj’s crime thriller ‘Walter’ progressing briskly in Kumbakonam

Sibiraj’s crime thriller “Walter” went on floors in Kumbakonam and is currently progressing at a brisk pace. Producer Prabhu Thilak says, “We wanted to title this film as ‘Walter’ owing to the significance of Sibiraj father Sathyaraj sir’s all-time blockbuster movie. Currently, the shooting of ‘Walter’ is going on in full swing across the backdrops of Kumbakonam – The Temple Town of Tamil Nadu.”

He further added: “Director Anbu has packaged this crime thriller with a bunch of interesting elements, which surprised me as an audience while listening to the script. His basic idea of shooting a crime-thriller in Kumbakonam itself struck my attention as this land is known for shooting family entertainers and Rom-Coms.

Shirin Kanchwala of Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja is playing the female lead role opposite Sibiraj in this film, which is produced by Dr. Prabhu Thilak and Shruthi Thilak for 11:11 Productions. The makers are now holding talks with a prominent filmmaker of our region to play the baddie. Samuthirakani is also playing a key role in the film.
