Shruti Haasan reportedly sings in Vedalam

Shruti Haasan has reportedly crooned for a solo number in Ajith’s Vedalam, if sources are to be believed. The song in question has lyrics penned by Madhan Karky. Anirudh Ravichander shares a good rapport with Shruti Haasan and this will be the latter’s third song under Ani’s composition after Kannazhaga and Un Vizhigalil. 

Directed by Siva, Thala 56 features Ajith and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. While Ajith essays the role of a cabbie, Shruti will seen as an advocate. Lakshmi Menon and Ashwin Kakumanu play important roles. There are reports that the audio launch is being planned for Anirudh’s birthday on October 16th and the first look teaser is expected to be released on October 1st.
