Shruti Haasan’s Uttama Villain regret

Shruti Haasan is currently busy shooting in the city for Poojai directed by Hari starring opposite Vishal. And, she’s still regretting having missed the chance of acting alongside her father Kamal Haasan in Uttama Villain. Yes, Shruti Haasan was the initial choice to play Kamal’s daughter on screen, but the busy Shruti could not commit since she had her hands tied with other projects.

Shruti Haasan has said in an interview that it was an offer she rues missing due to her tight schedules. Now, the role which Shruti Haasan missed has been played by Parvathi Menon of Maryan fame. Uttama Villain is directed by Ramesh Arvind and the team is leaving to Australia today to film some important scenes and a song.
