It’s not often you see Shruti Haasan speak about the separation of Kamal Haasan and Sarika in public. The slender beauty who is currently busy working with Vishal in Hari’s Poojai has taken a break now and recorded for a chat show with popular Bollywood screenwriter and lyricist Niranjan Iyengar.

When asked about the separation of her parents, Shruti Haasan was candid enough and eloquent in her reply. “I was a very intuitive child and before they told my sister Akshara and me that they were separating, I sort of had a hint. I never held any grudges against them for it. And today I feel happy to see them happy. Both are working, both have their own space in life and both are living life on their own terms. As a couple, my mom and dad were the most beautiful couple I have ever seen. There was a lot of love and warmth between them and it was wonderful to be around them at that time,” told Shruti Haasan.
