If Shruti Haasan’s performance was a floor scorcher in Vijay Awards, she dazzled in Filmfare with a range of songs which also included few hit numbers from Telugu in addition to the ubiquitious Why This Kolaveri. Apparently, she never had enough time to prepare for her Filmfare performance. She actually rushed to Chennai from Karaikudi where she was shooting for Hari’s Poojai in which she shares screen space with Vishal for the first time.
She had only 36 hours for preparation and managed to practice her moves within that. “I was so used to moving my body to the beats and rehearsing steps that my hands and legs would move on their own even when I was on the flight, much to the chagrin of my co-passengers. But, I love dancing and so, it’s fun performing live,” says Shruti Haasan to a daily.
