Shankar and SS Rajamouli come together for Santhanam

There have been rumors spreading that a lot of top actresses were approached for Vallavanukku Pullum Aayutham to feature opposite Santhanam and everyone denied to play the role. But, sources from PVP Cinemas were quick enough to brush aside the rumors citing, “We never tried any major actresses for this role at all. We wanted someone fresh – traditional and without any image trap. So, Ashna Zaveri fit the bill.”

VPA is the official Tamil remake of the Telugu blockbuster Maryada Ramanna directed by SS Rajamouli. VPA is the directed by Srinath and jointly produced by PVP Cinemas and Santhanam’s home banner Handmade films. Sources say that ace directors Shankar and SS Rajamouli will grace the audio launch function. It is worth mentioning that Director Shankar also released the audio of Santhanam’s maiden production venture Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya.
