Shankar drops Indian 2 updates at the Ponniyin Selvan launch

At the grand audio and trailer launch event of Ponniyin Selvan, director Shankar who arrived as a special guest spoke about the film and Mani Ratnam’s work and also dropped updates about Indian 2, his upcoming biggie.

Shankar said that he has just finished a schedule of Indian 2 with the rest of the actors, and will be moving on to get done with the rest of the shoot from the third week of September. The shoot for the film will have both Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal joining the sets. The film is an Anirudh musical, and will have loads to get excited about when it comes out next year.
