Review Overview
Hey Mama
Hawa Hawa
Konji Pesida Venam
Mazhai Thooralam
Thaen Kootil
Cherishable assemblage of tunes.
In opposition to most composers who comfortably absorb EDM into their compositions to make their job easier, here is Nivas Prasanna who believes in the authenticity of real instruments and percussions. Though his second outing doesn't break barriers like his debut, it is a fruitful set of tunes which will not make you turn the volume down. And that's what makes it likable.

Hey Mama: Singer – Anirudh
A munchy track to start off, with Nivas pulling in a stylish tune, though it is unfocused. Got to give it to Anirudh for working on his modulations every time, and it’s great to get a taste of Blaaze after a long time. Our PICK!
Hawa Hawa: Singers – Karthik and Saindhavi
If it was Vinmeen Vithaiyil in his debut, it is Hawa Hawa in his sophomore outing. A simple, feel good track with some really charming lyrical dosage makes this a heartening listen.
Konji Pesida Venam: Singers – Sriram Parthasarathy and Chitra
Despite the old-fangled tune, this track works thanks to the two singers, who give it their all. Harmless is the word.
Mazhai Thooralam: Singer – Nivas Prasanna
Nivas grabs the mic himself for this lilting motivational number, which escalates into better states with the passing minute. The minimalistic orchestration works wonderfully in favor of the song. Our PICK!
Thaen Kootil: Singer – VM Mahalingam
Nicely rendered pathos bit, but it does bring about a feel similar to those tracks lying at the bottom of every other album.
