Selvaraghavan’s Kaan slated for December release
Selvaraghavan’s Kaan will get an international version for the global audience. “I think the film deserves to be seen by the global audience. May be without songs for the international audience who seek rich content. The team is also planning to release the film in international languages such as Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese to name a few,” says a source. It is tentatively slated for release in December this year.
Produced by Gitanjali Selvaraghavan and Siddharth Rao under the banner Glo Studios, the film features an ensemble cast of Simbu, Catherine Tresa and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles and Jagapathy Babu and Suresh in supporting roles. Simbu essays the role of a Lord Murugan devotee and Taapsee will be seen in the role of a cop. Cinematographer Aravind Krishna and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja are joining hands with Selva for the film after nine years.
