Selvaraghavan on his next movie

Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam, despite being ambitious and innovative, didn’t work well in the box-office. The overdose of CG was mocked at by the audiences and eventually the film failed to keep the cash registers ringing. Selvaraghavan later announced his next project with Simbu and Trisha. But, Varun Manian of Radiance Media, who bankrolled Selva’s untitled flick, clarified in an interview that the shooting has been postponed and he wants Selva to clear the debts he owes for PVP Cinema (who produced Irandam Ulagam) to resume shooting.

Now, Selvaraghavan has posted on his Twitter page that he’s working on his next script and will announce the details soon. This has taken everyone in the industry by surprise. “I can’t make a movie just for the sake of it or money. I need to be addicted to the script. Finally I got one and started writing. Will announce the details as soon as possible. Thanks for all your love and support.”
