Sathya’s next film ‘Chennai Singapore’ is a rom-com
Sathya’s next film Chennai Singapore is a romantic comedy unlike his first film Amara Kaaviyam which is a romantic tragedy. Amara Kaaviyam released to largely unfavorable reviews from critics across the board, though the film’s technical aspects were highly raved about. Meanwhile, Sathya has moved on to his next film Chennai Singapore, which is slated for release during the first half of 2015.
Sathya will be paired with Hebah Patel, who was last seen in a brief role in Thirumanam Enum Nikkah. Chennai Singapore is directed by Abbas Akbar and the film is touted to be a romantic comedy. The team is on the brink of completing Chennai portions for the film and will head to Singapore for the next schedule from October. The film is funded by the Media Development Authority of Singapore. Chennai Singapore is one of the very few Indian films bankrolled by the Singapore government. It has music by Ghibran.
