Sathyaraj teams up with a debutant next
Sathyaraj has teamed up with debutant director Karthik for a yet-untitled project, which will be bankrolled by his home banner Nadhambal Film Factor. “As soon as I heard the script, I decided to be a part of this film. This is one of the best scripts I have heard in the recent times. Working with new directors expands my passion towards cinema in a larger scale. Their commitment is amazing. Karthik, director of this film, had spent a large part of his time in observing the day to day activities of a FM channel. I play an FM Channel head, and it was absolutely different to see and hear others chat non-stop as jockeys when I just sit and execute. This way I’m playing a role very different from my earlier ones,” Sathyaraj spills the beans about his role.
The team has already completed five days of shoot. “Revolving around an FM station, this untouched genre will focus on the kidnapper and the RJ. We all know that Sathyaraj sir is famous for his ‘Satire Dialogues’ and this film also contains more of that style. This will be a unique visual treat for the audience,” says debutant Karthik. The untitled film will have music by Santhosh and cinematography by Shriram.
