Satellite rights of Rajinikanth’s 2.o sold for Rs. 110 crores
The satellite rights of Rajinikanth’s 2.o have been sold for a whopping price of Rs. 110 crores to Zee Network.
“It’s TRUE” Lyca Productions’s gets a partner in Zee for our Mega Opus 2.0 Satellite!!!,” tweeted Raju Mahalinga, Creative Head of Lyca Productions.
Sources say it’s a record deal in Indian television since the film has already surpassed Aamir Khan’s blockbuster Dangal satellite deal which was acquired for Rs. 75 crores.
Directed by Shankar, 2.o is being produced by Lyca Productions and slated to hit the screens worldwide on October 18th in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi simultaneously.
