Satellite and digital rights of Maamanithan acquired by Zee

The satellite and digital rights of Vijay Sethupathi’s Maamanithan have been acquired by Zee Network. It must be noted that the satellite and digital rights of Vijay Sethupathi’s next release Sindhubaadh, which is slated to hit screens on June 21st, are also with Zee.

Directed by Seenu Ramasamy, Maamanithan has been shot in Madurai, Kerala, Varanasi, and Rameswaram. Guru Somasundaram of Joker fame plays the role of Vijay Sethupathi’s friend in the film, which stars Gayathrie as the lead heroine. Ilaiyaraja, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja jointly compose the music for the movie.
