Sarkar unseats Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam to become highest-grossing southern film of 2018
Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar has unseated the record of Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam to become the highest-grossing southern film of 2018. Sarkar has crossed the Rs 220 crores mark worldwide from ten days while Rangasthalam‘s lifetime gross is pegged at around Rs 214 crores.
Sarkar has also become the seventh highest-grossing Indian film of 2018 after Padmaavat, Sanju, Race 3, Baaghi 2, Hichki, and Thugs of Hindostan. The collection earned by Sarkar is now more than Bollywood biggies such as Akshay Kumar’s Gold, and Alia Bhatt’s Raazi.
