Sarkar rakes in Rs 110 crores in Tamil Nadu in 10 days
Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar has raked in an excellent total of Rs 110 crores in Tamil Nadu in 10 days. However, it may not be enough for the film to break even since the theatrical rights were sold a huge price of Rs 80 crores.
The movie directed by AR Murugadoss has two weeks left in theaters before Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0 takes over the screens entirely on November 29th. While the film needs to gross nearly Rs 35-40 crores to be a safe venture for all the stakeholders, it has already entered into the profit zone in the Telugu states and Karnataka.
