Sararth Kumar’s negative avatar in Sandamarutham

Billed as Sarath Kumar’s comeback film, Sandamarutham directed by A.Venkatesh is advancing at a rapid pace. The latest news is that Sarath Kumar will be playing a negative avatar in the film. “I’m returning to films after a short gap because of politics. I didn’t want to do a regular film and wanted to experiment. I play double role in Sandamarutham and one of it has a negative shade. I wanted audiences to see me differently,” says Sarath Kumar.

The actor, who also plays a cop in the film, has penned the story for the first time in his career. “Since I’m making a comeback of sorts, I wanted to be seen in a certain way. I penned the story keeping that mind and it has come out well. The film will release in September,” he told IANS. It has Oviya and Meera Nandhan playing the female leads and Samuthirakani in an important role. Prolific crime novel writer Rajesh Kumar has written the screenplay and dialogues.
