Santhanam to team up with director Kannan next

Santhanam, who delivered a super-hit film in Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 early this year, will work with director Kannan next. Kannan’s recent outing Boomerang starring Atharvaa and Megha Akash failed to work at the box-office and he would be looking to bounce back through this script.

The film is tipped to be an action-comedy and Santhanam has already given his nod. The movie will be jointly produced by Kannan and MK Ramprasad. The team is currently busy finalizing the cast and crew for the film, which is expected to go on floors sometime before July. Santhanam has worked with Kannan in films such as Kanden Kadhalai, Settai, and Jeyam Kondan and shares a good rapport with the director.
