Santhanam joins Lingaa team

Actor Santhanam has joined Rajinikanth on the sets on Lingaa in Hyderabad. The team is working round the clock under the captainship of KS Ravikumar. The shooting for the film is currently happening in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. KSR is currently filming scenes involving post-independence era, says a source. Santhanam is likely to share screen space with Rajinikanth in the post-independence portions of the story.

The film also has another comedian Karunakaran of Soodhu Kavvum fame who reportedly shot for pre-independence portions. The makers are planning to release the film on Rajinikanth’s birthday, 12.12.14.
