Samuthirakani to play baddie in Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan?

We earlier reported here that Sivakarthikeyan’s next, tentatively titled as Rajini Murugan, has an impressive cast that includes Samuthirakani and Rajkiran in important roles. The latest news is Samuthirakani’s role has the shades of antagonist in the film. “Samuthirakani will play a character that is like a villain in the film. This character will be as powerful as the one he recently did in Dhanush’s film,” says a source.

Produced by Thirupathi Brothers and directed by Ponram of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam fame, Rajini Murugan  will be shot in and around the beautiful locales of Madurai. The film will be a comedy entertainer on the lines of VVS. It has music by Imman and lyrics by Yugabharathy. Soori, who played Siva’s friend in VVS, will reprise the role again in this flick too.
