Samuthirakani plays cop in Vetrimaaran’s Visaranai

Samuthirakani is the latest addition to Vetrimaaran’s next film which has Attakathi Dinesh playing the lead role. The plot deals about how our system treats people who are wealthy and a person who is helpless when he is convicted, says a source. “It is true. This film is based on a true story and is bound to change the face of Tamil cinema for ever. It is simple unadulterated truth,” says Samuthirkani to a daily.

Samuthirakani essays the role of an inspector in the film. “Recently, the person, on whose life experience this story is based, came and visited us on the set. It was a memorable experience for all of us,” adds Kani. The film is slated for release in January. Vetrimaaran is likely to begin Dhanush’s Soodhadi after completing the film.
