Samantha plays a slum dweller in Vada Chennai

Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen essaying the role of a slum dweller in Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai which is expected to go on floors from February, 2016. We had earlier reported that the movie will be majorly shot in the nook and corner of Chennai’s slum areas.

Samantha, who was last seen in Vikram’s 10 Endrathukulla, received middling responses for her dual role in the film. Vetrimaaran is well known to extract the best performances from his cast and Samantha’s role is eagerly awaited in Vada Chennai, which will be shot as a two-parter. Dhanush plays the role of a gangster based in North Madras. His character will be chronicled over a period of 30 years.
