“Samantha is there all through the film & is a key part of the action,” says Vijay Milton

Samantha Ruth Prabhu does not play the usual heroine role in Vijay Milton’s 10 Enradhukulla where she is paired with Chiyaan Vikram for the first time. She has a meaty role and is an important part of the action. “When I narrated the story to Samantha, she was excited over how important her role is. She is there all through the film and is a key part of the action,” says Vijay Milton in an interview. Vijay Milton also compares Samantha’s commitment for her character with Vikram.

“Like Vikram, she too is completed committed to the movie. She is constantly researching her look and her character,” says Vijay Milton. He is also happy that everyone treats the movie as their own and is taking more interest to better their character. Slated to release for Pongal 2015, 10 Enradhukulla, apart from featuring Vikram and Samantha as leads, also has Pasupathy and Jacksie Shroff in important roles. It has Munishkanth of Mundasupatti fame playing Vikram’s friend and Manobala in a crucial role. While Vijay Milton himself cranks the camera, D. Imman composes music for the film. It is jointly produced by AR Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios.
