Sakthi Chidambaram to direct Jeevan in ‘Jeyikkira Kuthira’

Actor Jeevan, known for his roles in Kaakha Kaakha, Thiruttu Payale and Naan Avan Illai, is coming back after a five-year hiatus to play the lead role in Jeyikkira Kuthira directed by Sakthi Chidambaram, who is best known for his films with Sathyaraj – Maha Nadigan, Englishkaaran, Kovai Brothers to name a few. Touted to be a full length commercial entertainer, the film went on floors today and will be completed over the next two months.

The shooting will take place in Chennai, Pondicherry and Mumbai. Dimple Sopte, Ambika Soni and Thiraviya play female leads and Saranya, Jayaprakash, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Manobala, Singampuli play supporting roles. While Srikanth Deva composes music, lyrics will be written by Vairamuthu and Madhan Karky.
