Saagasam Movie Preview

After the long-delayed Pulan Visaaranai 2 which bit the dust at the box office last year, actor Prashanth is gearing up for the release of Saagasam which is all set to hit screens on February 5th along with Vetrimaaran’s Visaaranai and the multi-starrer PVP production Bangalore Naatkal.

Saagasam is an official Telugu remake of Allu Arjun’s Julayi, which was a super hit in Tollywood. Produced by Staar Movies, Saahasam stars Prashanth and newcomer Amanda in the lead roles and Nargis Fakhri of Rockstar fame will be seen in a special dance number. Produced by Staar Movies, the film is directed by debutant filmmaker Arunraj Varma.

The film has ensemble cast including Thambi Raamayya, Nalini, John Vijay, Robo Shankar and Kotta Srinivasa Rao in important roles. The album composed by Thaman has been received well by music listeners.

Plot

The story revolves around hero’s love, sentiment, family and the ruthless villain. Though the happenings take place in a city, there is an unforgettable message in the movie.

“I will not tell this is a never-seen kind of story, but the screenplay and treatment will be thrilling. The screenplay will be so engaging that the audience can never take their eyes off the screen. We believe we have come up with a good film,” says Prashanth confidently.

Director Arunraj Varma

Film-makers like Rasu Mathuravan, Susi Ganesan, Hari, Radha Bharathi made their debuts in Prashanth sir films. I feel fortunate that I also make my debut in his film. Thiagarajan Sir has worked in almost every department apart from producing and writing the script and dialogues for the film
