SA Chandrasekhar plays the lead hero in Touring Talkies

We earlier reported here that SA Chandrasekhar is joining hands with Ilaiyaraja after Rajinikanth’s Naan Sigappu Manithan for his upcoming directorial Touring Talkies. Now, the latest news is SAC, who has directed several hit films over three decades in his career, is debuting as a lead hero in Touring Talkies. SAC plays a 75-year old septuagenarian named Anthony Raj in the film.

“Perhaps, it’s my passion for action that finally brought me on board. More over, the film is inspired from my real life romantic experiences. I want to relive those moments,” says SAC. Touring Talkies marks SAC’s 69th directorial and is a fusion of two different stories intertwined as one. Hemamalini, a Simla-based actress, plays the female lead. SAC has toned down his body to play the lead role in the film. The dubbing works are currently underway.
