Rudhran Movie Review

Raghava Lawrence entertains big time in this engaging entertainer! Here goes our Rudhran Movie Review.

Raghava Lawrence’s range of mass entertainers always offer a different brand of entertainment, and rightly so, his new film in Rudhran is a taste of the same cake.

Rudhran is based on the story of a man who is hell bent on taking down a rich gangster Bhoomi, and won’t stop at any amount of thugs thrown on his way. Rudhran has a reason for all that, and while that is only revealed in the second half, you know where it is heading. The film’s first half decent progression which is majorly held together by Raghava Lawrence and his antics, along with the songs which are big eye pleasers. In the second half, the film moves into the serious zone, with the emotional content being opened up fully, and the film moving into a full-fledged action zone.

Raghava Lawrence’s performance is the life of the film, and has a fantastic energy level throughout be it the action sequences, the fights or whatever the film needs from him. He is well supported by Priya Bhavani Shankar who is great throughout the film and does very well in the emotional scenes. Sarath Kumar is very good as the villain too, and the film has a good support cast who all contribute well to the film.

The film has a good musical offering with composers such as GV Prakash, Dharan, Asal Kolaar and Sam CS contributing together. The technical factors of the film are neat as well.

On the whole, Rudhran is a good commercial entertainer that will fit the requirements of the target audiences.

Verdict: A compelling old-school commercial entertainer!
