Rudhramadevi to hit screens on June 26th

Anushka Shetty’s biopic Rudhramadevi will be released on June 26th in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously, confirmed makers yesterday. Billed as India’s first historical stereoscopic 3D film, Rudharamadevi stars Anushka Shetty in the titular role.

Directed by Gunasekhar, the film has an ensemble cast including Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Catherine Tresa and Prakash Raj. The music for the film is composed by Ilaiyaraja. The film is said to be made at a budget of more than Rs. 50 crore, which is highest for a women-centric film.
