Meet the villains of ‘Romeo Juliet’

Romeo Juliet directed by Lakshman is a lighthearted romantic comedy starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika in the lead roles. When asked about the antagonists in the film, Lakshman revealed an important plot point. “There are no villains in the film, except for Ravi and Hansika. While Hansika is the villain in the first half, Ravi will be turning the bad guy in the next. They will be real meanies, yet have a love story brewing,” disclosed the director.

The team is currently on a break and will resume shooting during the mid-week of June. They have mounted a lavish set of a house in Chennai where a major chunk of scenes featuring the two have been shot. The crew will head to Hawaai to film a romantic song soon. Almost 40% of the film is already completed. “Jayam Ravi plays a guy who believes in the poetic romance of the bygone era, and Hansika plays a girl who wants safety and security in life. The film is about how two people with contrasting characters fall in love,” tell Lakshman when asked the premise of Romeo Juliet.
